Our Speaker

Brian Swensen, RNC Senior Advisor

With nearly 20 years of political and corporate consulting experience, Brian has served in various leadership roles on the most politically significant and successful races in the state of Florida and United States. As one of Florida’s leading political operatives, he has a winning record of delivering results for his clients and providing solutions for unique and complex challenges.

In 2024, Brian served as the National Field and Election Day Operations Director for the RNC and Donald Trump for President Campaign. In those roles, he developed the Trump Force 47 Program and oversaw Operations for the Election Integrity Program where all target polling locations had 100% coverage in addition to a record number of poll workers were recruited and hired in Battle Ground States. Prior to that he served as Senior Advisor for the Trump Campaign for the Nevada Caucus and served as Vivek Ramaswamy for President’s Political Director.

Election cycle Brian served as the Voter Turnout and Election Day Operations advisor for the Donald Trump for President Reelection Campaign in Florida. While serving in those roles he developed and implemented new and innovative voter engagement programs such as the Welcome Home voter registration switch program, Trump the Vote early vote operation, and the Believers and Ballots Sunday church service program. During the most crucial phase of the campaign, he directly managed over 150 staff in the field program who, in the final month, surpassed goal and walked 1,895,179 doors and made 5,533,163 phone calls. This final Voter Turnout program deployed was key contributor to the record 5.6 million votes cast for POTUS and 3.3% margin of victory for President Trump in Florida.

In the 2018 cycle Brian worked the Ron DeSantis for Governor Campaign and Matt Caldwell for Commissioner of Agriculture. He assisted Ron DeSantis in building the voter turnout and EDO Program, and Hurricane Michael voter engagement efforts, which proved to be the crucial difference maker for several statewide races who won by less then .25% points. For the Ag Race, he oversaw the strategy that helped Caldwell advance past a contentious primary where he was outspent by his opponents 3-to-1.

In the 2016 cycle Brian served as Senator Marco Rubio’s Deputy Campaign Manager where he built a political operation from the ground up in only 5 months. In the state of Florida where statewide contests are won or lost by less than 1% point, he led a voter turnout operation that contributed to a victory of 7.67% over their opponent. He also managed the successful Lenny Curry for Jacksonville Mayor campaign in 2015, which defeated a key Clinton ally, incumbent Mayor Alvin Brown.

Prior to 2016, Brian was a part of the nationally watched Bill Cassidy for U.S. Senate Campaign in 2014, where he was in charge of the political and grassroots operation that lead to the defeat of incumbent Senator, Mary Landrieu. Prior to working in Louisiana, Brian served as Political Director for the Republican Party of Florida for three years and in 2010 served as Governor Rick Scott’s Victory Director, where he oversaw the Field Program, a key contributor to the campaign’s victory of 1.2%.

Brian graduated from Florida International University where he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association and is a graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale. He continues to serve as a faculty member and does campaign trainings for International Conservative non-profit, The Leadership Institute based in Arlington, VA.
