About the Speaker
Raised on a working ranch in Montgomery County, where he currently resides, Brandon Creighton put himself through the University of Texas and Oklahoma City law school working as a pipefitter. Following law school, Brandon worked for the Oklahoma and Texas Attorneys General.
During his time in the Texas House, Creighton led the largest Republican Caucus in the nation, and in the Texas Senate, he Chairs the Senate Committee on Education overseeing K-12 and Higher Education.
Last election cycle, Brandon was asked to lead the statewide Victory effort for the Republican Party of Texas. Best known for his trademark, Let Texas Run Texas, Creighton is consistently ranked the most conservative in the Texas Senate. In the private sector, he works as an attorney and real estate developer in Conroe where he lives with his family.
