Join the RNLA Arizona Chapter in-person and virtually for a special program on the importance of safeguarding school choice for Arizona families. The panel of school choice experts includes: Jon Riches, Vice President for Litigation and General Counsel at the Goldwater Institute; Jenny Clark, Love Your School Founder and national school choice advocate; Katie Ratlief, Executive Director at Common Sense Institute; and Alexandria Saquella, Associate Attorney at Holtzman Vogel. This is a great opportunity to connect with Republican attorneys from across the state!
About the Presenters
Jon Riches is Vice President for Litigation and General Counsel at the Goldwater Institute’s Scharf-Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation, where he litigates in state and federal courts nationwide on issues including economic liberty, regulatory reform, free speech, government transparency, and school choice. He has authored and helped enact landmark reforms, including the Right to Earn a Living Act and Arizona’s first-in-the-nation law ending judicial deference to administrative agencies.
Jenny Clark is an Arizona native, mother of five, and founder of Love Your School, a platform she launched in 2019 to help families explore Arizona’s diverse education options. A graduate of the University of Arizona, she attended Arizona public schools K–12 and now uses multiple schooling models for her own family. Clark serves on the Arizona State Board of Education, is a partner at First Day PR, and is a national speaker on parental empowerment and school choice.
Katie Ratlief is Executive Director of the Common Sense Institute of Arizona, serving as the organization’s primary spokesperson and leading strategic initiatives and outreach. She previously spent six years in Gov. Doug Ducey’s administration, including as Deputy Chief of Staff, where she led major policy, budget, and legislative efforts. Ratlief holds degrees in Economics, Political Science, and Law from the University of Arizona.
Alexandria Saquella is an associate attorney at Holtzman Vogel, focusing on commercial litigation, government investigations, and appellate law. She previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting hundreds of federal cases and leading complex trials involving drug trafficking, immigration offenses, and human smuggling. Saquella also served as an Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Phoenix and as a judicial law clerk on the Arizona Court of Appeals.
