The RNLA Women's Network is excited to host Alison Cheperdak for its Spring 2026 Reception in Washington, D.C., for a conversation on the importance of etiquette in the workplace and more! Alison is an etiquette expert and attorney who recently released her first book, Was It Something I Said? Everyday Etiquette to Avoid Awkward Moments in Relationships, Work, and Life, in which she seeks to empower individuals to cultivate empathy, adaptability, and interpersonal skills through the principles of modern etiquette.

About the Speaker

Alison M. Cheperdak, J.D., is a bestselling author, internationally certified etiquette coach, and the founder of Elevate Etiquette, a modern consultancy devoted to helping people move through life with confidence, clarity, and grace. She is also an attorney and entrepreneur whose career spans television journalism, law, and public service, including service in the West Wing of the White House.

Alison is the author of Was It Something I Said? Everyday Etiquette to Avoid Awkward Moments in Relationships, Work, and Life. She has led trainings at Harvard Law School, the U.S. Congress, the White House, and leading organizations across industries, and her insights have been featured in national and international media including The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, and The Washington Post.
