Join RNLA's North Carolina Chapter for our inaugural Winston-Salem reception. We will hear from special guest Addison McDowell who is running for Congress in North Carolina's 6th Congressional District. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow Republican lawyers.

Addison McDowell grew up in Davidson County and is a graduate of UNC Charlotte. After graduating, he went on to work for Congressman (now U.S. Senator) Ted Budd as a Constituent Liaison. That’s a fancy way of saying, Addison’s job was helping all the good folks who nurtured him as he was growing up. He relished the opportunity. Addison is running for Congress now to take his fight for working families to Congress. Addison supports protecting and promoting American jobs as the top priority. Helping secure our Southern border is Addison’s other top priority. Stopping the flow of fentanyl and other illegal drugs from flooding our Southern border isn’t a talking point for Addison, it’s personal. Addison’s younger brother, Luke, died of a fentanyl overdose, the same fentanyl entering our country daily due to Joe Biden’s failure to secure our Southern Border. Addison and Rachel have a seven-month-old daughter, Mary Margaret. The family suffered a late-term miscarriage with Mary Margaret’s older sister, Charlotte Sloane. Holding Charlotte in his hands only served to reinforce what Addison has always believed, all life is precious. Addison is campaigning full-time at present. His previous professional experience, in addition to working with Ted Budd, includes advocating for local communities across North Carolina as well as seeking out better healthcare options for North Carolinians.

- Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. -
