BIO

Kevin practices in the area of political law and civil litigation. Before joining Chalmers, Adams, Backer, & Kaufman LLC, he ran a solo practice focused on political law and civil litigation. Kevin counsels political committees, nonprofit organizations, elected officials, candidates, political parties, and lobbyists on the federal and state laws that govern involvement in political activities. Kevin is also employed as an attorney by the Republican National Committee.

Kevin has been selected by Business North Carolina to the Legal Elite: Young Guns division. North Carolina Super Lawyers Magazine has identified Kevin as a North Carolina Super Lawyer Rising Star. Outside the practice of law, Kevin serves as the Vice-Chair of the RNLA’s North Carolina Chapter, a member of the Federalist Society, and the Offensive Coordinator of the Pungo Christian Academy Varsity Football team.

Kevin attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where he played Varsity Football and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, NC where he served as an Editor of the Campbell Law Observer.
