BIO

Patrick W. Price is an associate in Barnes & Thornburg LLP's Indianapolis, Ind., office and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. Mr. Price's practice primarily focuses on complex litigation, particularly cases involving financial and damages issues and legal questions of a unique and challenging caliber. He also works with small businesses on a variety of governance and regulatory issues. Mr. Price has served as lead and co-lead counsel in numerous bench and jury trials taken to successful verdicts, and most recently served as one of three lead trial attorneys on a six week bench trial involving hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. Mr. Price received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served on the Journal on Regulation and the Journal of International Law, and as the student coordinator of the Linkage Exchange Program with law schools in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. Following law school, Mr. Price clerked for the Honorable Neil M. Gorsuch on the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and for the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Mr. Price also taught Legal Analysis, Communication and Research as an adjunct professor of law at the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. Mr. Price received his B.A. with honors and highest distinction from Indiana University where he was a Wells Scholar and received the Congressional Harry S. Truman Scholarship. Active in the community, Mr. Price is a four-year member of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Professionalism Committee, where he is actively involved in the Association's 'Lawyers in Transition' and 'Pause for Professionalism' projects. He also currently serves on the board of the Riviera Club. Mr. Price is past-president, past-treasurer, and past-board member of A Children's Habitat, and also served as a member of Mayor Ballard's transition team, where he focused particularly on library matters. Mr. Price is admitted to practice in the Indiana courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Indiana State and Indianapolis Bar Associations, as well as the St. Thomas More Law Center.
