BIO

Patrick D. Purtill is Director of Legislative Affairs of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. He also serves as the Charles Evans Hughes Lecturer at Colgate University where he teaches a course on administrative law and the separation of powers doctrine. Previously he worked in Gammon & Grange's nonprofit and exempt organizations practice and government affairs group. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to positions in the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Justice. and has served as CEO of two Washington-based NGOs: the National Council For Adoption (NCFA) and the Washington Scholarship Fund.
