Mr. Cumings represents clients on various matters in front of the Michigan legislature and state agencies. He also serves as legal counsel to political campaigns, including campaigns for statewide candidates. Mr. Cumings also has extensive experience advising clients on federal and state environmental matters and brownfield incentives. Before joining Warner Norcross, Mr. Cumings served as a legislative aide to three former members of the Michigan House of Representatives, including Ken Sikkema, James Middaugh, and Jack Horton. Mr. Cumings has also been actively involved in many Republican campaigns and has served as an election-day attorney for the Republican party and the Bush and McCain presidential campaigns.
