Michael Galano is a partner in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office, practicing in the areas of legislative and administrative law, with a focus on strategy development, lobbying, legislative and regulatory counseling, and innovative solutions to corporate, nonprofit and governmental issues at the federal level. He is one of the original members of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Practice Group, which is consistently ranked among the top law and government affairs teams in Washington, D.C. Mr. Galano has contributed articles to numerous publications on various topics, including water rights law, local-federal intergovernmental relations and procurement opportunities with the federal government. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Galano served as a legislative aide to former United States Congressman Dick Zimmer (R-NJ). He has also worked on the campaigns for candidates for the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate.
