As the opposition to critical race theory (CRT) grows, the state of Washington just enacted legislation requiring all public school teachers to be trained in the ideology. Jason Rantz wrote for The Federalist:

The race-obsessed framework isn’t relegated to schools in Seattle, where you’d expect a victim-centered ideology like critical race theory to flourish. Thanks to the state’s Democrat-controlled legislature, a trio of bills just signed into law mandates critical race theory training for all public school teachers. Another even requires training for medical students, teaching them it’s as essential to be social justice activists as it is to treat patients.

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden announced that Vice President Kamala Harris would lead the Administration's election law effort. It should come as no surprise that the Biden Administration is assigning the task to Vice President Harris. The Corrupt Politicians Act (H.R.1/S.1), a federal takeover of elections, is the Democrats' number one priority. 

On Sunday night, the Texas Legislature came to a screeching halt in the final hours of the legislative session when Democrat lawmakers abandoned the House floor to procedurally prevent the House from completing its business just before sine die. This move prevented an election reform package, SB 7, from being voted on due to a lack of quorum. The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board wrote:

As the Texas legislative session drew near its end Sunday, lawmakers appeared set to pass a bill overhauling the state’s elections, until Democrats did one final maneuver: They snuck out of the building. “Members, take your key and leave the chamber discreetly,” a Democratic leader in the state House told his caucus in a 10:35 p.m. text message.

Critical race theory is a dangerous ideology that has infiltrated many areas of American life. The theory has roots in the Frankfurt School, which was eventually considered part of the Western Marxist schools of thought. A report by The Heritage Foundation explains:

From [Critical Legal Theory] it is a short step to Critical Race Theory. Unsurprisingly, given its name, CRT makes everything about race the prism through which its proponents analyze all aspects of American life—and do so with a degree of persistence that has helped CRT impact all aspects of American life.

This week was a busy one for Biden Administration nominees. Kristen Clarke was confirmed by the Senate to lead the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division. The Senate Judiciary Committee also held a hearing to consider six other nominees, including Tiffany P. Cunningham to be a United States Circuit Judge for the Federal Circuit and David H. Chipman to be Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

The GOP has unequivocally condemned the increase in antisemitic attacks taking place in cities across the country and have called out inappropriate rhetoric in their own party. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the Democrat Party which has allowed anti-Israel rhetoric to proliferate within its ranks despite its connection to the increase in violence. The rise in antisemitic attacks comes in the broader context of generally higher violent crime rates in cities that have voted to reduce funding for law enforcement over the last year. 

These Anti-Semitic attacks must be condemned.

The scenes that have unfolded in the United States are horrifying. This is not what this country stands for and every American must speak out against these attacks.

Speaking before the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Elections today, RNLA Co-Chair Harmeet Dhillon said it best:

On Thursday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) announced that they are seeking to intervene in two ongoing lawsuits filed by the NAACP and the League of Women Voters (via Marc Elias) challenging election reforms recently signed into Florida law by Governor Ron DeSantis:

“Florida’s recent election reforms are aimed at a simple goal: making it easier to vote and harder to cheat,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “Democrat attempts to dishonestly misrepresent these common-sense reforms are pure political theater, and Floridians see right through them. The RNC remains committed to protecting election integrity at every level of the process, no matter how many lies Democrats tell.”

President Joe Biden's Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States met for the first time on Wednesday afternoon as calls for court packing and for Justice Breyer to retire increase. CBS News reports:

In its first meeting, which lasted less than 30 minutes, the commission's members were sworn in, and they adopted its bylaws. The group also laid out its schedule and structure. Over the next six months, the panel is set to meet six times, and in its next meeting, commissioners will hear testimony about Supreme Court reform.
