BIO

Dan Traynor has been active in the Republican Party for many years. He has served as State Chairman for North Dakota from 2001-2003. Dan is a fifth-generation North Dakotan. He graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1997. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Gerald W. VandeWalle of the North Dakota Supreme Court. Dan is a shareholder in Traynor Law Firm, PC, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He currently serves as Chairman of the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation and Chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court. He is a Elected Member of the American Law Institute. Dan is married to Patricia A. Traynor, a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. Dan and Tricia have two children, Mary and Mack.
