Senate Judiciary Ranking Member Chuck Grassley and House Judiciary Ranking Member Jim Jordan both point out that numerous whistleblowers have come forward to raise concerns about how the FBI (and the Department of Justice) are conducting themselves.
Transparency brings accountability & if the FBI & DOJ aren’t transparent about raiding a former presidents home they risk further damaging their credibility I’ve already raised issues from whistleblowers abt political bias in investigations so we’ve got a right 2b skeptical— ChuckGrassley (@ChuckGrassley) August 9, 2022
Republican leaders in Florida also criticized the FBI raid. Attorney General Ashley Moody notes that as the top law enforcement officer in the state, the was not notified of the raid in advance.

The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.— Ron DeSantis (@RonDeSantisFL) August 9, 2022
As RNLA Chair Harmeet Dhillon told Laura Ingraham last night, Americans should be concerned about what Monday's raid means for the average American.
RNLA Chair Harmeet Dhillon: “We should all be aware that this is abuse, it is systematic, and it is coming for the average American citizen. If they can do this to the former President, they will do it to supporters of the President which is half of the United States.” pic.twitter.com/d2EtI5jyCw— RNLA ⚖️ (@TheRepLawyer) August 9, 2022
