President Donald Trump gave a rousing speech announcing his reelection tonight.  Here are a few highlights on one of President Trump's greatest accomplishments in his first two years...

"I will soon have appointed my 145th  judge. President Obama was very nice to us.  He did not fill the positions.  . . . We just finished number 107, already approved and sitting on the bench.  How about that!  By the time we are finished with the rest, we will have a record percentage, except for one person. . . His name is George Washington. George has 100%.  Well he was first!"

Trump's record on confirming judges is truly impressive.  However, as he points out, the left's goals to politicize judges is frightening.  

"They want to take away your judges, they want to pack the court with far left ideologues.  They want to radicalize our judiciary."

Of course, what Senate Democrats tried to do to Justice Kavanaugh was horrible. 

"Look what they did to a great gentleman, Justice Kavanaugh.  Highly respected.  They didn’t just try to win.  They tried to destroy him with false and malicious accusations.  Thank you [Senator] Marco [Rubio] and [Senator] Lindsey [Graham] . . . great job!  (Applause.)

They tried to ruin the family of now Justice Kavanugh.  They tried to ruin his career.  They tried to ruin his life.  They even wanted to impeach him on fraudulent charges.  Those charges were a fraud. He did nothing wrong.  All in pursuit in political domination and control."

President Trump made a good point by noting that what was done to Kavanaugh was done during a time when Democrats did not control the Senate.  Good Republican leaders like Senators McConnell, Grassley, and Graham were able to stop them.  But just imagine if Democrats actually had control of the White House and Congress.  As President Trump said: 

"Just imagine what this angry left wing mob would do if they were in charge of this country.  Imagine if we had a Democrat president and Democrat Congress in 2020.  They would shut down your free speech.  Use the power of the law to punish their opponents which their trying to do now anyway.  They’ll always be trying to shield themselves.  They would strip Americas of their Constitutional rights."

Thank you President Trump for defending the Constitution and for promoting outstanding judicial nominees.
