Jim Milbrand is a skilled trial lawyer with experience litigating complex commercial, mass tort, education law, and white collar criminal matters. Jim defends businesses in industries such as accounting, health care, software, electronics, education, and real estate. He has taken multiple cases to trial in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute forums in various jurisdictions. Jim has also represented municipalities and municipal sub-divisions in highly public and hotly contested trials. Jim並_s practice in white collar defense includes the representation of high net-worth individuals and businesses with investigations conducted by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, the United States Department of Justice, local District Attorneys, the Department of Homeland Security, state Attorneys General, and various other state and federal agencies. Jim並_s experience also includes the representation of businesses and professionals with respect to regulatory conformity, 並_whistle blower並_ litigation, enforcement of non-competition covenants, section 807 labor disputes, and mass tort lawsuits.
