John Zarian serves as General Counsel to the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), which promotes safety in the crane industry by developing national certification programs. Prior to joining NCCCO, and for nearly 27 years, John's legal practice emphasized intellectual property litigation, as well as complex business and commercial litigation. An experienced trial lawyer, he has been recognized by many professional rating organizations. He has been listed by Mountain States Super Lawyers as one of the attorneys in the Mountain States region, and has served as President of the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. John is a frequent speaker on topics of legal interest. He has taught Intellectual Property Law as an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho law school, and abroad through the Center for International Legal Studies (in Armenia and Latvia). John is a member of the Idaho Mediation Group and is listed on the roster of approved mediators for the U.S. District Court, District of Idaho.
