Kristen Kalina is an attorney with the law firm of Whitbeck & Cisneros in Leesburg, Virginia (admitted in Ohio). She also works with a number of local Republican candidates doing event fundraising, public relations and grassroots managment with Liberty Consulting Partners and formerly with Patriot Consulting VA. An active Republican since childhood, Kristen is a member of the Republican National Lawyers Association, the former Vice Chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee and a longtime conservative grass-roots activist. Formerly, Kristen worked in government affairs and public relations as a Government Affairs Counsel for 3 industry trade associations. She spent the majority of her career working for the Petroleum Industry first in Columbus, Ohio and then here in Washington, D.C. She worked with state and federal regulators developing more workable solutions to burdensome industry regulations. Kristen is a founding member and serves on the Board of Advisors of Loudoun Youth, Inc. a non-profit trade association dedicated to serving the needs of Youth in Loudoun County. Kristen has a BA in Political Science from The Ohio State University and a law degree from Capital University Law School where she was a member of the Law Review. She and her husband Mike and their two daughters live in Hamilton, Virginia.
