California is set to vote on whether to recall Governor Gavin Newsom on Tuesday, September 14th. RNLA Co-Chair Harmeet Dhillion recently appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to discuss the election.
Joined @TuckerCarlson on @FoxNews to talk about #CaliforniaRecallElection integrity, the lawsuit seeking to label the #RecallElection as unconstitutional, and the motion to intervene my team @dhillonlaw filed a few hours ago. #RecallGavinNewsomhttps://t.co/tk77kmepAD pic.twitter.com/UI8VbSXO5R

Supporters of Governor Newsom have argued that recall election is unconstitutional, but a federal judge ruled today that "There is nothing unconstitutional about placing in one ballot a vote for or against the recall of the Governor and then a vote for a replacement candidate."
“Plaintiff plainly feels disgruntled that a replacement candidate with a small plurality might replace a sitting governor who” could beat that candidate in regular election, Judge wrote. That's not enough to “ halt the mammoth undertaking of this gubernatorial recall election.

Dhillon's firm represented 3 Californians in the case who have already voted.
BREAKING! Court rejects lawsuit to declare recall unconstitutional—happy to see arguments we @dhillonlaw made on behalf of three citizens who already voted, in court’s reasoning. We stood up for participatory democracy in California, and the people won! Now vote YES on recall! 🗳 pic.twitter.com/ga4gwkDGjt

Some are concerned that the election is vulnerable to election fraud. As RNLA noted earlier this week, hundreds of ballots were found in the car of a man arrested under suspicion of committing multiple felonies.
Police say they're investigating the discovery of hundreds of recall election ballots in a vehicle where a felon was found passed out with drugs, a loaded firearm, and multiple driver’s licenses and credit cards https://t.co/aEmPIUYlye

While there are various Republicans in the race, one thing is sure — Gavin Newsom needs to go.
