After several days of deliberation, a Wisconsin jury has acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse of all charges arising out of his use of deadly force against rioters who attacked him during last summer’s violent unrest in Kenosha. National Review reports:
Rittenhouse was arrested on August 26, 2020, after shooting three people during the riots that followed the police killing of Jacob Blake, a black man who was brandishing a knife and in the process of violating a restraining order when police arrived on scene. He was initially indicted on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional reckless homicide, failure to comply with an emergency order from a local government, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Those on the Left were quick to denounce Kyle Rittenhouse, his defense attorneys, the jury, and the judge presiding over the trial as white supremacists and further decried the American legal system as a system of white supremacy.

This is at least the 3rd Democrat that has baselessly accused KR of being a white supremacist. It's disgusting and their obsession with injecting race in every conversation even when it's not relevant is deranged. https://t.co/xOV8P1LsJf

As Fox News' Gregg Jarrett points out, the verdict should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to the actual facts of the case:
If Americans actually watched the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse and did not listen to the biased and hyperbolic coverage on MSNBC and CNN, they understood completely Friday’s "not guilty" verdicts on all criminal charges.
The witnesses and videotape footage corroborated the account given by the accused when he took the stand and relived how he reasonably feared he was in imminent danger of death or grave bodily injury when he opened fire with his weapon.
Jurors did not believe the prosecution’s anemic argument that Rittenhouse provoked the encounters and forfeited his right to defend himself. It was, in a word, a "crock."
It's just absolute pure malfeasance. They are wrong on 98% of the facts of this entire story and they don't care.

It remains to be seen whether public unrest from today's verdict will incite a breakdown of law and order like that which led to this tragic case in the first place. What is clear to see, however, is that those on the Left care more about skewing the truth, ignoring the facts, and using identity politics to obtain their desired outcome rather than celebrating when the justice system does what it was designed to do, which is to let the innocent go free.
