The Democrats are the Party of Sore Losers

While Republicans did knock off a number of incumbent Democrat Senators, one would think that Democrats would be celebrating taking back the House and a “good election” night. The fact of the matter is the Democrats and their liberal allies spent a great deal of time being sore losers or worse.  As Lisa Boothe writes:

The 2018 midterms crystallized one thing: The Democrat Party is the party of sore losers. Joining the ranks of Hillary Clinton - who still hasn't come to grips with the fact she lost the 2016 presidential election - Stacey Abrams, Bill Nelson, and Andrew Gillum all showed America how to lack grace in defeat.

Let’s start with Georgia Democrat Nominee for Governor Stacy Abrams.  After clearly losing she continued to claim voter suppression and gave a concession speech that only Hillary Clinton could be proud of.  As the Editors of the Weekly Standard point out:

On Friday, Democrat Stacey Abrams, the Georgia gubernatorial candidate who narrowly lost to Brian Kemp, delivered the single most ungracious and self-serving concession speech we can remember. “So let’s be clear,” she said,

this is not a speech of concession, because concession means to acknowledge an action is right, true, or proper. As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that. But my assessment is the law currently allows no further viable remedy. Now, I can certainly bring a new case to keep this one contest alive, but I don’t want to hold public office if I need to scheme my way into the post. Because the title of governor isn’t nearly as important as our shared title—voters. And that is why we fight on.

As the Weekly Standard points out there is no evidence of any voter suppression.

I guess the one good thing about sore loser Abrams is she did not cheat.  Unlike, sore loser Florida Democrats who according to Politico may be facing criminal prosecution:

After getting crushed in the 2018 midterms, the Florida Democratic Party is now playing defense after staffers sent altered state election documents to voters, a move state officials have asked federal prosecutors to investigate. . . .

To cure a mail-in ballot, voters needed to submit an affidavit on Nov. 5, the day before Election Day. But the altered version changed the date to Nov. 8, the deadline to cure issues with provisional ballots. It's unclear if any voters availed themselves of the altered affidavit produced by party operatives.

Under state law governing “fraudulent practices,” it’s a third-degree felony to “knowingly and willfully ... make or use any false document, knowing the same to contain any false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry” connected to the Department of State. While the fraud statute is not contained in the state’s election code, it relates to the 2018 election because the affidavit in question concerned the elections division, which falls under the Department of State.

To think this is way Democrats behave after they have had a “good” election.  Democrats should be ashamed as being a sore loser is something all sides should agree is un-American.
