Yet Another Poll Shows that Americans Want Safe and Secure Elections

On Thursday, the RNC announced the results of a poll confirming that "voters reject Democrat lies about election integrity efforts." Those polled included Americans identifying as Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. As Georgia Governor Brian Kemp told Fox News, Republicans have the truth on their side when it comes to defending GOP-backed election reforms.

78% of those polled supported all of the following: voter ID, signature verification, chain of custody controls, bipartisan election observers, and keeping voter rolls clean.

An even greater percentage (87%) are against ballot trafficking, also known as ballot harvesting.

But despite it being clear where the American people stand on election issues, Democrats continue to ignore the realities of what voters really want. DNC Chair Jaime Harrison said on Thursday:

"Republicans know that their policies are unpopular — and that the only way for them to hold on to power is to attack the constitutional right to vote, held by the people they swore to serve. That’s why the Republican Party has made unprecedented efforts to keep people from voting," Harrison said in a statement. "I’ve said time and again that the 'D' in Democrat stands for deliver, and today we are delivering innovative and historic resources to protect this fundamental part of our democracy."

The announcement about the DNC's new $25 million voter "protection" and "education" effort was headlined by Vice President Kamala Harris.

As the RNC's Communications Director Danielle Alva points out, the Democrats' talking points are misleading the American people:

In a desperate effort to push their federal takeover of elections, Democrats continue to lie to the American people. Democrats refuse to join Republicans in supporting common-sense policies like voter ID, because their sole agenda is more power and partisan control.

The bottom line: Americans want safe and secure elections. Democrats, on the other hand, don't.
