House Oversight Continues to Expose Corruption and Failed Policies of Joe Biden

On Friday, House Oversight Chairman James Comer revealed that the Committee has found evidence that Joe Biden has received direct compensation for alleged "shady influence peddling of his name" by the Biden family "and their access to him."

Margot Cleveland explained for The Federalist:

Bank records released on Friday show Joe Biden received $200,000 from funds his brother Jim Biden siphoned from the failing health care company Americore. Beyond providing more proof that President Biden directly profited from his family’s selling of influence, this new evidence — when read together with Americore’s bankruptcy filings — reveals Joe has the money that rightfully belongs to innocent creditors.

On Friday, James Comer, the chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, announced that bank records, provided in response to subpoenas the committee issued last month, revealed Jim Biden wrote a $200,000 check to his brother, now-President Joe Biden, on March 1, 2018 — the same day the failed Americore wired $200,000 to Jim and his wife Sara’s personal bank account.

The Committee notes several questions President Biden must answer about this large transaction:

  • Does he have documents proving he lent such a large sum of money to his brother and what were the terms of such financial arrangement?

  • Did he have similar financial arrangements with other family members that led them to make similar large payments to him?

  • Did he know that the same day James Biden wrote him a check for $200,000, James Biden had just received a loan for the exact same amount from business dealings with a company that was in financial distress and failing?

But this is not the only news Oversight Republicans have broken over the last few days. On Monday, the Committee announced that Chairman Comer and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene have sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin demanding answers about "emerging reports that Hamas and other terrorist organizations may have obtained American-made weapons."

The Washington Examiner reported:

“The Committee has seen reports that U.S.-manufactured weapons are being redistributed and resold in secondary markets to terrorist organizations, including Hamas,” Comer and Greene wrote in their letter.

Ukrainian intelligence officials said earlier this month that Ukraine’s forces believe Russia armed Hamas with American-made weapons captured from the battlefield in Ukraine.

The U.S. has sent more than $45 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since the Russian invasion began last year.

An Israel Defense Forces commander also raised concerns in June, months before Hamas attacked Israel, that the Palestinian terrorist group had obtained American-made weapons from Afghanistan.

The Taliban have engaged in extensive arms dealing with guns and equipment left behind by U.S. troops during the hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

From investigating the Biden Crime Family to analyzing the policy failures of the Biden Administration, House Oversight Republicans continue to do a fantastic job exposing the deep-seated corruption and disastrous policies of Joe Biden.
