On Friday May 5, 2017, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump spoke at the RNLA's National Policy Conference on the Islamic threats to the United States and other Western societies.  Dr. Gorka's gave an impassioned speech and a history lesson to conference attendees on the National Security issues facing the White House, and his role as an advisor to President Trump.

Today, President Trump announced ten additional nominees to federal court vacancies.  The RNLA and RNLA leaders praised these nominees as excellent choices following the pattern of his first two judicial nominees, Justice Gorsuch and Sixth Circuit nominee Amul Thapar:

Today, Judge Amul R. Thapar, a U.S. District Court Judge from Kentucky, had his Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing. Judge Thapar is the first circuit court nominee by the Trump Administration.

He has the support of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and was an Obama appointee.  He is the longest serving U.S. Attorney in the nation.  Yet, Rod J. Rosenstein has waited almost three months to finally get a chance to be confirmed as Deputy U.S. Attorney General, the number 2 position in the Department of Justice.  Cloture had to be invoked as six Democrats opposed him even getting an up or down vote!
