On Wednesday, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs held a hearing on voting in Native American communities where they discussed potential legislative measures like those currently included in H.R. 4. Democrats are using Native American voting issues as yet another avenue to push their federal takeover of elections, and Oklahoma Senator James Lankford is fighting back. 

Earlier today, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee at an oversight hearing for the Department of Justice. Both Ranking Member Grassley and Chairman Durbin noted that Garland has been less than responsive to requests for information from Congress.

The scandal behind the most infamous attack of the Democrats' and Biden Administration’s war on the First Amendment grew larger today.  In a letter today by 17 state attorneys general to the National School Boards Association, whose letter allegedly started the effort of the Department of Justice to label parents speaking at school board meetings “domestic terrorists,” notes:  

Recent reporting and e-mails not only make clear that NSBA likely colluded with the Biden administration, but also suggest that Biden administration officials may have participated in the development of the September 29 letter and asked you to sign it. In your e-mail to the NSBA Board dated September 29, 2021, you specifically stated that you had been “in talks over the last several weeks with White House staff, they requested additional information on some of the specific threats, so the letter details many of the incidents that have been occurring.”

The countdown is on, with only a week left until Election Day in Virginia, Democrat Nominee and former DNC Chair McAuliffe is bring in out-of-state liberals to bolster his failing campaign. Unsurprisingly, Stacey Abrams was one of those and is using campaigning for Democrat Terry McAuliffe as the latest platform for her refusal to accept the results of the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race.

Ever since President Biden was elected, Democrats have made it their top priority to re-elect themselves. We previously wrote about how the Pennsylvania School Boards Association is speaking out against Attorney General Merrick Garland kowtowing to the unfounded accusations and demands by the National School Boards Association.  A resulting Department of Justice (DOJ) memorandum raised the specter of parents exercising their First Amendment rights at school board meetings being treated as domestic terrorists. Now, other stated-based school boards have joined Pennsylvania.

At least 11 state school board organizations are distancing themselves from a National School Boards Association letter asking President Joe Biden to take action against parents protesting progressive school policies.  . . .

The letters from the state groups recognize the importance of local boards’ role in educating children, with the Virginia group urging educators and school boards to work together and to listen to parents for the “safety and achievement of all students.”

There's only a little over two weeks left until Election Day in Virginia, and Democrats are nervous. The Wall Street Journal reported that early voting—usually an indicator for Democrat turnout—is down across the commonwealth, and a recent poll by the Trafalgar Group shows Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin ahead.

While Democrats in Washington deny the need for election integrity measures and continually try to undermine them with bills such as H.R. 1, H.R. 4, and the misnamed "Freedom to Vote Act," the past week has been a busy one across the country for allegations of voter fraud and election misconduct.

In Michigan, three individuals were charged with voter fraud after the state's voter integrity measures flagged their respective actions:

Michigan residents Trenae Myesha Rainey, Carless Clark and Nancy Juanita Williams have been charged with attempting to commit voter fraud following state investigations that resulted in accusations that the women improperly filed out ballot applications and ballots during the November 2020 general election, according to a state news release. . .

The blowback from the Biden Justice Department's latest overreach has now reached the state level.   

The Pennsylvania School Boards Association tells Delaware Valley Journal it disavows a letter last week from the national school board group asking that parents protesting education policy be investigated as possible violent domestic terrorists, That letter resulted in swift action from Attorney General Merrick Garland — and a swift backlash from advocates of parental rights and opponents of federal interference in local law enforcement.
