Republicans and Democrats spent Tuesday presenting dueling visions for America's elections. Republicans want to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat, while the Democrats, led by President Biden, are willing to do whatever it takes—including changing the Senate filibuster—to achieve a partisan takeover of our elections.
Democrats will do whatever they have to do to get their way—including changing the rules—to fundamentally change U.S. elections.

Both Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden addressed the nation with divisive speeches urging the Senate to pass radical Democrat-backed election bills. Most prominent were their continued misrepresentations of GOP-backed election reforms at the state level and their hypocrisy on the filibuster.
Democrats act as if large swaths of America are being denied the right to vote.

The facts tell a different story:
✅In 2020, 67% of all citizens age 18+ reported voting, up 5% from 2016
✅ In 2020, 73% of all voting-age citizens were
registered to vote, 2% higher than in 2016
Kamala Harris claim that state election reforms will prevent 55 million Americans from voting is absurd/crazy/ridiculous & has no basis in fact whatsoever; this is pure propaganda & totally false

FACT CHECK: Biden has just repeated 4 lies about Georgia's election integrity reforms that were debunked months ago: https://t.co/NMTn0jvTsl

A recent report from the RNC catalogues both Vice President Harris' and President Biden's past support of the filibuster:
• For decades, Biden said eliminating the filibuster would have drastic consequences: o In 2020, Biden said he did not support “abolishing the legislative filibuster” because “it raises problems that are more damaging than the problem that exists.”
o In 2019, Biden called ending the filibuster a “very dangerous thing to do.”
o In 2005, Biden praised the “chance to filibuster,” called the “nuclear option” to weaken the filibuster an “arrogance of power,” and said eliminating the filibuster “would undermine the protections of a minority point of view” and have “long term consequences.”
• Kamala Harris also defended the filibuster:
o In 2019, then-Senator Kamala Harris said she had a “practical concern” if the filibuster were not in place. For decades, Biden said eliminating the filibuster would have drastic consequences:

Biden and Harris talk a big game, but they simply do not have the votes to pass the elections legislation or abolish the filibuster.
Someday someone is going to explain to these Democrats that Manchin + 50 Republicans = 51.

52 if you count Sinema. https://t.co/gxsKaB3547
Biden can stand there and shout at clouds, but activists know he doesn't have the votes and he's not doing anything to get them.

That's why Stacey Abrams and voting rights groups aren't even there today.
Senate Republicans should be applauded for their united opposition against the Biden Administration's radical elections agenda and plan to abolish the filibuster.
This week, Democrats will try to silence your voice.

Don't let them.
