Last week, Congressman and New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin was attacked while giving a campaign speech. Zeldin, who was ironically giving a speech about bail reform during the attack, predicted that the assailant would be released. Unfortunately, this prediction came true. (The attacker was subsequently arrested again after federal charges were filed.)
A man tried to assassinate @RepLeeZeldin with a knife. Thankfully, Lee is safe, but his attacker is already released back on the streets.

Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies are outrageous, but since Lee is a Republican, the media will largely ignore the attack.
As Congressman Zeldin points out, the policies of soft-on-crime officials have led to declining safety in places like New York City.
Another weekend of chaos, violence and death in New York City. Pro-criminal, anti-police, anti-law and order politicians, DAs, laws, and policies need to all go to turn this all around and make our streets safe again. pic.twitter.com/IsJzxjOGbP

While President Joe Biden condemned the attack, his statement falls on deaf ears. The attack on Congressman Zeldin is just one example of the breakdown of law and order in President Biden's America.
The U.S.-Mexico border is overrun with violence and an endless stream of migrants.
The Biden admin has abandoned any attempt to secure our Southwest border & ultimately to keep Americans safe. https://t.co/rL63iOURJb

Furthermore, the Biden Administration has done little to quell the "summer of rage" resulting from the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in Dobbs v. Jackson.
It was worse than we thought.

“According to data compiled by the Family Research Council, there have been more than 100 attacks against pro-life groups nationwide since the beginning of May. . .” https://t.co/CXamO5pSmG
The breakdown of law and order will continue as long as President Biden and Democrats continue to push soft-on-crime policies and fail to keep Americans safe.
