Last week, the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court approved its final report to be sent to President Joe Biden. Fox News reported:

The Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court voted unanimously Tuesday in favor of approving its final report and sending it to President Biden's desk.

By a 49 to 50 vote, the U.S. Senate confirmed Jennifer Sung to the 9th Circuit on Wednesday. Her nomination drew criticism from Republicans for a letter she signed on to calling U.S. Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh an "intellectually and morally bankrupt ideologue" during his confirmation process.

The soft on crime policies of local and state Democrat officials are costing Americans. As the Manhattan Institute's Rafael A. Mangual wrote about in an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, rising crime has become a top issue for voters, despite the Left trying to gaslight the American people into believing that rising crime shouldn't be a concern.

On Wednesday night, the U.S. Senate voted to repeal the Biden Administration's vaccine mandate for private businesses with one hundred or more workers. The effort, led by Indiana Senator Mike Braun, saw bipartisan support with West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and Montana Senator Jon Tester crossing the aisle to vote with Republicans. Politico explains that the bill utilizes the Congressional Review Act to get rid of the regulation:

Earlier today, the Ninth Circuit upheld Arizona's curing deadline for mail-in ballots that are returned without the voter's signature. Courthouse News Service reports:

The Arizona Democratic Party sued the state in June 2020 claiming the deadline for missing signatures denied voters due process and violated their First and Fourteenth Amendment rights. After a federal judge ruled in favor of the Democrats, the state appealed to the Ninth Circuit and oral arguments took place in July 2021.

Last week, Senate Democrats took advantage of the absence of some Republican members to vote on a discharge petition for President Joe Biden's nominee to be the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts, Rachael Rollins. Rollins' nomination would not have moved forward without trickery from the Democrats:

Rollins's nomination has been shelved in the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee since that panel deadlocked in September on whether to report it to the Senate floor, breaking with what Democrats have described as a longstanding tradition of respecting the will of presidents and home-state senators.

New York City has some of the strictest COVID-19 restrictions in the United States—and they just got worse. Outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio announced today that he would be expanding the city's vaccine mandate to apply to children ages 5 and older:

Children ages 5 to 11 must show proof of one vaccination dose to eat out, see a show, go to a movie theater, visit a fitness facility, or attend indoor entertainment venues by Dec. 14.

On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a confirmation hearing for a number of judicial nominees. Among them was Dale Ho, nominated to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. Throughout the hearing, Republican Senators expressed concern over Ho's prior partisan rhetoric, especially on social media.
